About Us

Jennifer & Anne are a Mother/Daughter team from Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. Weekly get togethers of creating art and funny stories turned into an exciting new venture. With 15+ titles since April 2022, and more to come, we’ve been extremely busy. The excitement in us hasn’t waned. With an amazing local response in our hometown, we have been encouraged to do some marketing abroad.

Our children’s books are the result of our life experiences and childhood memories. Our humour reflects how we like to live – “On the lighter side of life.”

Our love of poetry and art started at a young age for both of us. Inspiration was sparked by two of our favourite authors, Banjo Patterson and Henry Lawson.

Originally landscape artists, we branched out into water colour painting for all of our colourful illustrations
